Steve Bowling

Thanks for the insight in to the world of basketball !! It is a cultural treat for me - people in the US complain that cricket is played over 5 days, yet here we have the best of 7 nights? Plus the US is captured by the play-offs and the rest of the world has been focused on the World Cup Qualifiers for the South Africa 2010 World Cup (Soccer) - We had S. Korea vs Iran, Australia vs UAE, England vs Andorra (we won 6-0), Italy vs New Zealand, Ukraine vs Kazhakstan to name a few of the 30 to 40 games played this week all over the world!

The football (soccer) story this week has also been the $130 million signing of Ronaldo from Manchester Utd to Real Madrid (a world record) - creating all sorts of discussion about whether he is worth it either as a player or as a leader on the pitch or particluarly in the "big games" - there is the link to your blog!! :) Some of the traits you mention are apparent with Ronaldo!
