Earlier this week I was speaking to top HR leaders at a conference in Chicago and, yesterday, to a group of soon to be promoted Coast Guard admirals and senior executives from the Department of Homeland Security. I thought it would be fun and enlightening to change the game a bit so after I was done talking to them, I asked them to talk to me.
The result is this 2-minute video in which half a dozen top leaders from organizations such as General Mills, Northrop Grumman and the U.S. Coast Guard answer the question, “What’s your best advice for leaders in 2009?” As we face a challenging environment on both the economic and governance fronts, these leaders have some straightforward wisdom to share.
